Since 2013

A modern home for an old recipe.

Pho Daddy is a Calgary-born Vietnamese restaurant. Halal-certified. Vegetarian-friendly. Customized to your taste, built on broth that takes its time.

The story

The Pho Daddy story began in Calgary in July 2013, inspired by Vietnamese tradition and a love of bold, balanced flavour.

We set out to offer a different kind of pho restaurant — one where the broth is slow-simmered, the herbs are fresh, and every bowl is built around what you like. Halal-certified, deeply vegetarian-friendly, and unmistakably ours.

Today, you'll find us in Calgary's Beltline, popping up at local festivals, and showing up at community events. Same kitchen. Same chopsticks. Same family.

Halal, properly.

Our entire kitchen is Halal-certified. That means every protein, every broth — not just a few items on the menu. It's a commitment we made on day one and we've held it ever since.

Vegetarian by design.

Our pho and noodle bowls all have a vegetable build. Same broth philosophy, same fresh herbs, same care — without the meat. We love that this is the dish vegetarian friends drag their meat-eating friends to.

Around town.

You'll find us at local food festivals and community events around Calgary. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for where we're popping up next, new menu items, and the occasional giveaway.
